You know, I think a lot of people look at Jack, and all they see are her tats, her makeup, and her hair (Or in her Mass Effect 2 appearance’s case, her lack thereof). They think she’s just some psychotic bitch that’s done too many drugs in her life, or is just addicted to killing.

None of them realize what Cerberus did to her, what other people did to her even once she escaped. 

They don’t realize that under that inked from head-to-toe, barely clad skin, is just a young girl who was torn away from her parents and used as a fucking lab rat her entire childhood, to finally escape one day, only to be taken, used, and abused some more.

A lot of people don’t like to notice the scars.

orbitingasupernova: somethingofthewolf: #why do i feel #like he’s a brand new professor at a nice uni #trying to find his way to his classroom but he keeps getting lost #and it’s snowing outside so he really wants to get inside because he’s starting to lose feeling in his fingers#and his long multi-coloured scarf isn’t as warm as he thought it would be#(though for some reason he feels like the colours are all wrong) #and oh look there’s his grad student TA waiting for him #what was her name? lovely blonde all… pink and yellow… #Oh right! Rose Tyler! He had a quick meeting with her yesterday in his office. #And she’s smiling at him and greeting him with an entirely polite ”Good morning Professor Smith!” #And he wonders why she looks just a bit sad when she says his name (a bit almost like his /name/ makes her sad) #but then she’s reaching out automatically - almost like she’s going to hold his hand? #but then she quickly snatches it back and he’s more than a little confused at the enigma that is his new TA #In fact he thinks he even dreamed about her last night.
